With a selection to suit your taste no matter what your wallet size, our team in the 505 kitchen are cooking up a storm. So drop by for dinner or nibble on some snacks as the night rolls along.

Just a quick reminder, 505 does not take bookings, doors open at 6pm Monday-Saturday so get here nice and early to snag a good couch or table.

505 is also available for private functions

Autumn/Winter 2014

Food - 6 -10.30pm

 

Whole Mixed nuts- $8

Nibbles- $12

-a selection of marinated olives served w grissini and feta

Cheese, crackers and apple- $12

- choice of either vintage chedder, danish blue or brie served with fresh apple and crackers

Three cheese fondu- $15

fondu of grueyer, vintage chedder and edam served with rye bread

Farmhouse terrine- $18.50

terrine of chicken, pork, pancetta, cognac, sage and thyme served with homemade citrus chutney, corchicons and crisp bread

Veggie board- $28

seasonal pickled vegetables, roasted cauliflower, grilled vegetables, olives, dolmades,  dill pickles, caramelised onions, fresh apple, greens, beetroot & mint dip, marinated feta, bocconcini and bread

Meat board- $28

selection of cured meats- jamon, pancetta, salami, chicken and pork terrine, served with sauerkraut, pickled onions, vintage chedder, olives, corchicons, citrus chutney, garlic aioli, and bread

Whole roasted cauliflower to share- $28

whole roasted cauliflower served with a three cheese dipping sauce, greens and rye bread

Haloumi and roast veg wrap - $10 or $15 w/ fries

toasted wrap filled with seasonal grilled vegetables, salad and haloumi

Club Sandwich- $15 or $20 w/ fries

a turkish bread club filled with grilled chicken breast, bacon, roasted sweet potato, garlic aoli and summer leaves

505 Burger - $17.50 or $22.50 w/fries

a brioche bun filled with a homemade lamb patty, coleslaw, greens and cheese topped with beetroot and mint chutney

Roasted beetroot, sweet potato and chevre salad- $17.50

- a hearty winter salad of roasted beets, sweet potato, salad greens, chili and soft goats cheese served with grilled turkish bread


Aubergine parmigiana- $17.50

-oven roasted aubergines baked in a rich homemade tomato sauce, fresh basil and buffalo mozarella served w/ grilled turkish bread

French style braised chicken- $18.50

-chicken breast oven roasted in a winter vegetable and barley broth

250g rump steak- $18.50

- cooked to your liking with a choice of one side

-creamy vanilla ice cream served with homemade honeycomb, honey roasted mixed nuts and butterscotch sauce

Boozy Sundae - $21

-505 Ice Cream Sundae with a liquor of your choice

Affogato - $8

-strong plunger coffee poured over vanilla ice cream

Boozy Affocato - $16

-add a liquor of your choice, we recommend frangelico

Late Night Snacks - available after 10pm

Toasted Cheese Jaffle - $6.50

-Molten cheese in a crispy toasted sandwich, perfect late snack

6 Nights a Week at Venue 505

Kicking off 2014 we are increasing the fun times with:

Monday nights are free entry and happy hour all night for Happy Monday Games Night. With live music and board games a plenty. It's boogie woogie with your backgammon.


Come party down for 'Old School' Tuesdays with a live funk and groove band, invited guests jamming and DJ selections of some rare grooves. And it's FREE entry!!!

Wednesdays is a great night for the very best in contemporary Jazz and World music from some seriously world class players. A feast for the senses and especially your ears.

Thursdays will feature some of the new and old faces of 'beat' music reaching into the vaults of Reggae, Afro-Beat, Funk, Jazz and more. Free entry to 505 members!

Fridays are a night to unwind for the week with a blend of some high class and fun acts that range from Swing, Gypsy, Worls, Soul, Funk and more.

Saturdays are our concert series and a perfect night to sit back and let your ears be trated to the most inspiring vocalists and instrumentalists Australia has to offer.

Love Roots, Groove, Funk and Jazz music? Tuesdays are all about it with free entry a lounge atmosphere, live funk trio and resident DJ. Check out the new cocktail menu in style and treat yourself to an early week hang. Some of Sydney’s finest muso’s will be dropping by to jam (or just prop up the bar) Cocktail hour from 6-730!
